Where It Really Started

Magic began as an escape. It became a way back into the world.

At eight years old, Jonas discovered magic during a period when everyday life often felt like something to get away from. Being bullied through much of primary school, and again later in secondary school, made magic more than a childhood fascination.

It became a world of possibility: a place where the rules of reality could be rewritten, where the impossible was something to investigate rather than accept, where imagination and practice could change what happened next.

What began as an escape became a hobby. The hobby became a passion. The passion became an obsession, not only with mastering technique, but with understanding what makes a room fall silent, what makes people feel something together, and what makes an impossible moment stay with someone long after it is over.

That is how Jonas turned his hobby into his profession, performing today for audiences and stages around the world, built on the same craft that started it all.

Magic, Perception & Possibility

Magic is his language. Impact is his signature.

Magic was never a goal in itself for Jonas. It was a way to understand attention, emotion and human behaviour, and over the years that grew into a distinctive way of using magic as a strategic communication tool: combining top-level illusionism with insight from psychology, storytelling, leadership and high-performance coaching.

That same curiosity about perception carried him into television, where he now works as a consultant creating original magic concepts for television broadcasters, including tricks developed for VTM's Code van Coppens. It also carried him to Nerdland Festival, where his 2026 performance sits at the intersection of magic, technology and science: showing an audience, live, how easily the brain can be misled, and why that matters far beyond the stage.

Today, Jonas helps companies and teams make their story felt, strengthen how they work together, and make change stick, using the same principle that has run through his work since he was eight years old: what people experience together, they remember.
